How to Draw Physics Diagrams Smartly (For Class 10–12 Students)”

Physics is one of the important subjects, particularly for students in Std X to XII. There are different, easier methods to study physics, such as experimentation, relating the topic to everyday life examples and so on. With my 40+ years of experience in physics teaching, I have developed smarter methods of drawing diagrams so as to make physics study meaningful.

Usually teachers explain diagrams by drawing them on a blackboard. Students draw diagrams by learning also from books, PPT, Google Images, etc. But all these cases do not give information regarding how to actually draw diagrams on answer sheets of A4 size.

Do you want to know the technique? So let’s learn the smart techniques of drawing diagrams on an A4-sized answer sheet.

If these diagrams are drawn with the help of smarter techniques and by following the philosophy behind the diagram, then the related topic can be understood properly and easily.

Importance of diagrams drawn by smarter techniques

1. The diagrams focus on definite physical meaning behind the topic.

2. They help to understand the topic correctly and properly.

3. They create interest in studying Physics.

4. To draw diagrams by smarter techniques, less time is required

5. They create habits of neatness, accuracy and so on. They give a proper impression of the required diagram.

Points to be remembered

1

Usually use Half page of A4-sized ruled sheet.

2

Use an HB pencil.

3

Keep the compass ready with the attached pencil.

4

Use a 30 cm and 15 cm ruler as per requirements.

By following the guidelines given above,  correct and accurate

Diagrams can be drawn easily. In forthcoming blogs the smarter

techniques of  drawing some diagrams  will be discussed in

detail.
