How to Draw Ray Diagram for derivation of distance between virtual sources in Bi-prism experiment ? The distance d between virtual sources S 1 and S 2 is measured by Conjugate foci method for Bi-prism experiment. For this, lens of focal length f is introduced between bi-prism and eye piece and eye piece is set at 4f distance from slit. Fig A Fig B When lens is towards bi-prism at L 1 position as shown in Fig A, magnified images of S 1 and S 2 are obtained and their distance d 1 is measured.
